Rattanak Ly (Independent Peace Practitioner & Consultant)

Rattanak, a peace practitioner with over a decade of experience, specializes in addressing historical and interethnic conflicts through peacebuilding initiatives. He holds two Master’s degrees: one in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies in Cambodia, and another in Peace and Conflict Studies in Australia. In addition, he has around 10 years’ experience working with and learning about the stateless, particularly ethnic Vietnamese, community in Cambodia. As a focal person for Women Peace Makers organization from 2021-2024, Rattanak played a key role in implementing a regional joint project partnering with NFA and HRWG which was aimed at fostering change among stateless communities. Rattanak is also a Co-Founder and General Member of the SDCC-AP network, representing WPM’s interests previously, as an independent stakeholder later.
